This story begins with Marcus Myburgh and his girlfriend frolicking at a bird park alongside all sorts of exotic birds. On the way back home, he couldn't stop thinking about this one cockatoo they had seen and so the idea for the Rockatoo was born.

There was something about this particular exotic animal that screamed rock n' roll. Not long after, that very bird went onto form (and become the lead singer)of the metal band Hatebeak. We kid, but seriously Marcus had so much fun designing these birds it flew itself onto an  exoticly epic Uberpong paddle!
